On previous Easters, I have used the arts to illustrate some of the themes of Easter, or I've talked about how they speak to me at this most important season of the Christian year. I've used music, poetry, visual arts, drama, and architecture and pieces of outdoor sculpture to throw light on a day characterized by the light of the resurrection. Rather than venture into a new area of art and literature, or revisit a previously discussed genre, I have decided this year simply to provide links to the previous five years of discussions.

As you read these observations, consider the ways in which God uses art and literature to touch your life during Easter season and throughout the Christian year.
